Vicarious

This work is about how my numb pessimism and bleak outlook on life as an adult was transformed by my son's blissful experience of his own little life. This bleakness is harshly portrayed at the onset of the work and ultimately leads to a lamenting of the loss of my own carefree perspective of the world. My son's emergence leads to the energetic, joyful drive that ends the work.
